About:

Soft Body (2) is part of the Soft Bodies Series of quilted soft sculptures. The piece is cyanotype-printed on cotton, then quilted and stuffed with polyfill. The back of the piece features a pieced quilt, and the binding is hand-sewn.

H x W x D: 7.5” x 9.25” x 0.5”

Materials: cotton, cyanotype on cotton, cotton and rayon, cotton batting, polyester and cotton thread

Care Notes:

Cyanotypes are very sensitive to moisture and light.

  • Display away from direct sunlight and under UV-resistant glass or acrylic

  • Do NOT wash. Never apply cleaning solutions or water

  • Handle infrequently or wear gloves to help prevent the transfer of oils from hands

  • Only use archival materials when framing

  • Pins or archival tape are safer options when framing instead of glue

Shipping:

  • USPS, FedEx, or UPS available for shipping

  • All pieces are shipped in an archival storage box with a letter of authenticity

  • All pieces are shipped with tracking numbers 

  • Registered Mail available 

Lost or Stolen Packages:

  • Insurance covers the cost of lost or stolen packages, but NOT damaged packages

  • Documentation may be needed from the recipient for insurance claims

  • If documentation is not provided in a timely manner, refund may be delayed or refused

Refunds:

  • Customers have 30 days to return undamaged artwork and 10 days to return damaged artwork

  • Documentation required for refund of damaged artwork

  • Artwork must be returned with original archival box and letter of authenticity

  • Return shipping labels will be provided upon request and at no cost

  • Refunds are processed once the package is received by the original sender (me)
